Hosting and server log files
The website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Each time the site is accessed, the server processes technically necessary data, in particular:
- IP address of the requesting device
- date and time of the request
- page or file requested and status code
- browser type and operating system (user agent), referrer URL where applicable
The purpose is to deliver the website, ensure security and stability and defend against attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the secure and efficient operation of the website. The data is stored only as long as necessary for these purposes and is then deleted or anonymised.
A data processing agreement is in place with Cloudflare. Processing in the USA cannot be ruled out. The transfer relies on the adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, insofar as Cloudflare is certified, and additionally on the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission.
Cookies
We do not set any cookies and do not use advertising or marketing services. Fonts and scripts are hosted on our own server.
In individual cases, Cloudflare may set technically necessary cookies to protect the website against attacks and automated access (e.g. __cf_bm or cf_clearance). These are used solely for security, not for analytics or advertising, and are deleted after no more than 30 minutes of inactivity or when the security check expires. The legal basis is Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG in conjunction with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. No consent is required.
Visitor statistics with Cloudflare Web Analytics
To understand how our website is used, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics by Cloudflare, Inc. (address above). When a page is accessed, a small script from static.cloudflareinsights.com is loaded which collects anonymous usage data such as the page viewed, time on page, referring page, device type, browser, country and loading times.
Cloudflare Web Analytics does not set cookies, does not store information in the browser (no localStorage) and does not create profiles or fingerprints of individual visitors. Your IP address is processed technically for transmission but not stored for identification. We only receive aggregated statistics.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in designing and improving the website according to needs. The information on hosting above applies to transfers to the USA. You can object to this processing at any time (Art. 21 GDPR), e.g. by blocking scripts from cloudflareinsights.com in your browser.
Encryption
The website is delivered exclusively via SSL/TLS (HTTPS). You can recognise this by the padlock symbol in your browser’s address bar.
4. Contacting us
If you contact us by email or telephone, we process your details (name, contact details, content of the enquiry, any drawings submitted) in order to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if the enquiry relates to a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We delete the data once the enquiry has been dealt with and no statutory retention obligations apply.
Customer and contract data
We process personal data of our customers, suppliers and business partners (e.g. contact persons and contact details) only insofar as this is necessary to establish, define or amend the contractual relationship (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Once the order has been completed or the business relationship has ended, the data is deleted as soon as no statutory retention periods apply.
5. Job applications
We process applications received by email in order to carry out the application procedure. The legal basis is Section 26 of the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Please note that emails may be transmitted unencrypted. After the procedure has ended, we delete your documents after six months, unless you have consented to longer storage or an employment relationship is established.
6. External links
This website contains links to external services. You leave our site only when you click such a link; the privacy notices of the respective operator then apply.
- Whistleblower system: Reports can be submitted via the EQS Integrity Line platform (lsk-lindner.integrityline.app). The operator and the processing there are governed by the notices on the platform.
- OpenStreetMap: The “Plan route” link on the contact page leads to openstreetmap.org. No map is embedded.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the following rights:
- access to your stored data (Art. 15)
- rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16)
- erasure (Art. 17)
- restriction of processing (Art. 18)
- data portability (Art. 20)
- objection to processing (Art. 21)
To exercise these rights, an informal message to datenschutz@lsk-lindner.de is sufficient.
Withdrawal of consent
Some processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future; an informal email is sufficient. The lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal remains unaffected.
Right to object under Art. 21 GDPR
Where we process data on the basis of legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), you may object to this processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. We will then no longer process the data unless we demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
Right to lodge a complaint
You may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is:
The Hessian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of InformationGustav-Stresemann-Ring 1
65189 Wiesbaden
8. Objection to advertising emails
We hereby object to the use of the contact details published in our legal notice for sending unsolicited advertising and information material. We expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of unsolicited advertising, such as spam emails.
9. Status of this policy
As of: November 2026. We will update this policy if technology or the legal situation changes.
